ICCCT2006: Group A

Compare Saj today to Saj 6 months ago (aka vs Sri Lanka) and the difference has to be one of the biggest in such a short space in Cricket history. Oh yeh Blackwell was good and I've always backed him but I think JD has done really well since he's come in, not got many wickets though.

Yeh why Flintoff is at 3 only the 'ODI side' of Fletchers brain knows. Yardys overall economy rate is still only about 4, he wasn't at the races today though.

I can't believe England won. I don't think the death batting was aggressive enough. They had batsmen who never went out there which is always a waste.

Too much thinking about getting 100 before the team. That is something Fleming didn't do twice, instead he went on the attack and tried to get more runs. Since the game doesn't really matter, maybe West Indies wanted to face South Africa.

That was some pretty trash bowling. Credit to England, they batted well for once!!

So it is pretty likely that it will be

New Zealand vs Australia/India
West Indies vs South Africa.

At last a high scoring match :) Windies bowlers took a fair bit of a smashing which undid all the good work the batsmen did. Must say its interesting seeing Lara moving himself down the order, doesn't seem to be working for him but Bravo is benefiting from it.

Last league game and I must admit , many Indian fans will b surprised if India pull this one off.
I hope they (India) make us eat humble pie.
Sehwag , I again repeat is the key since the middle order always does well when Sehwag fires.
He eases pressure off the middle order and Sachin..
For God sake, Keep Irfan out of the No.3 spot !

India seem to have gone for a stronger batting lineup which is good in my opinion, lot of pace bowlers on both sides though, should be good.

Ah damn, Australia are bowling. I wanted to see them bat before I go to bed :(

I can just see Sehwag making a century today though.

Oh yea hes back :) McGrath with his usual dictator line and length and hes got the big wicket of Tendulkar. Bracken is bowling really well too, Sehwag in very good touch though.

Lee getting smashed! Thats the problem with him, he does have his bad days. Australia will be hoping he comes back better.

India were off to a flier, has been pulled back a bit by good bowling and a wicket.

Was unlucky though, Lee could have had two wickets in that over. Wasn't his usual self though, too many half vollys and no balls. Johnson has started off well and Bracken is showing why hes the 2nd highest wicket taker for Aus this season.

Ouch so unlucky for Bracken, clipped the off stump but bails didn't fall.

I reckon Brad Hogg has been shafted this tournament. A spin bowler who can't make the team in India, what's next? Check tonight's lineup, featuring Lee, McGrath, Bracken, Johnson and Watson. Four is more than enough, guys. Sure, the Indians might take to spinners easier than pace, but what's the point of five pace bowlers?

I have no idea what Stuart Clark would have been doing with himself, because his replacement Cullen is just hanging out in the nets (not unlike Hogg).

Sehwags 50! Yeh! lets go get that century mate, win it for us!! >.<!
I love this crowd! Excellent match right now!
Mongia batting well also. Everyone except McGrath is being thrashed!
Watsons getting on my nerves with his over active facial expressions...:P

No!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Mongia Gone!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Stupid Watson and his cruddy face!

Congrads to the Wall for his 300th ODI Cap :)

This should be a really close game,Sehwag looking in good form!Bowling could be a problem for India, especially if theres dew.

That'll mean outfield is slower....
Meh, had tech issues and rebooted. Thankfull to know that only 2 wickets are down still..

how have we been batting the last 5 overs...watson still annoying? :
Beautiful stroke there by the Demolisher!

I'm really expecting a tight finish here. In my view these are the two best teams of the world. As long as these two stick in here for anothoer 10-15 overs until the death, then let Viru stay and Mahi can destroy.

Bowling is going to be tough. Bhajji will have alot on his shoulders, and against a spin-weak Australia, he may be the "turning point" :p ;) Mongia, Viru, Saching, and Raina can all have a good turn as well.

Early wickets, tight spin overs, and we just might have this.

LOL... you gotta love these Indian crowds. Absolutely spastic.

Sehwag is looking good as I predicted.

I hope that if Australia are chasing 250+ that Ponting really turns it on and makes a big big score.

Looking at the Line up, i would rather have dhoni ahead of Raina....
Haven't seen Mr. Annoying bat (watson), is he real good?

Key batters are definatly Punter and Gilly at the top, and Symonds. Clarke, meh, we'll get him

good fielding btw...
