Oh come on! Dhoni is a superstar, plus he is a consistently performing player. Give me an instance where he has consistently failed with the bat or the gloves. In fact his keeping has improved so much in the last few months or so. Karthik might be a natural, but Dhoni cant be replaced now behind the stumps and his batting is invaluable to the team because he is the only big hitter right now in the test side (with Sehwag not there).

Karthik is in danger of losing his spot to Parthiv Patel if he doesnt buck up in the Bangalore test with the bat. Parthiv is in red hot form, and would be the ideal replacement for Karthik.

We can really tell you like Karthik over Dhoni. (I think Dhoni's a lot more valuable to the team at the moment though.)
