Dont know how our players do especially our bowlers bowling on a flat wicket excited to watch vk vs ro run battle and gayle vs malinga battle..... I doubt rcb will pull this off ...

As i expected our bowlers were all over the park and i feel the same will be implied on Mi's bowlers, yet rcb need a great start hope chris oppens up early or dillu step it up and yes its still a 60:40 game with rcb's batting line up

Well done Mumbai! Gayle is the lock to RCB. Unlock him, and you can have RCB for breakfast, lunch and dinner sumptuously. And if you are a decent enough team, chances are you can unlock Gayle pretty quickly.

It was over when MI posted 194.

No it wasn't, expected a better show rather in the past and current weeks teams have been chasing decently so it was not all over rcb struggling with dilshan at the top making chris job tough it was good if he was dropped and brought in allrounder moiesis or danchristan and opened up with sunny sohail or mukundh both there batsmen can to the job in the 1st 6 and let chris take over from there.

200-3 we finish with and that's courtesy of some superb batting through the order, starting with Hussey and Saha to finishing with Raina and Dhoni. I won't put the chase totally away from KKR though, with McCullum and Morgan in the side, anything's possible!

Definitely not an easy victory by any means, but all that matters is the 2 points and our position on the table, which is top!

Finally we can see Chennai do well in the Round Robin stages. We are leading the table now.But our bowling is the serious worry i have, they look like defending 200 is tough. And dropping Murali Vijay paid off today.Lets see what happens next against PWI in their backyard in a couple of days.

Well played Chennai! The move to bring in Saha worked today, and it can also give Dhoni some respite if he needs one from the keeping duties. But I would not write off Vijay altogether. He is a big game player, and can come good when the playoffs come around.

Sides that dominate the league phases generally don't do as well in the knockouts. Hope Chennai is an exception this time. We need probably 2 more wins from 6 more games to qualify for the playoffs. But I want Chennai to qualify at the top of the table so that we get 2 cracks at the final. And with the form that Hussey and Dhoni are in, I am confident we can achieve it. Our bowling will sort itself out pretty soon, and I am confident on that too.

Mr.Cricket at its best again. Any batsman would have liked to rotate the strike on 95 till getting a century. But Michael Hussey selflessly played his good shot, unfortunately got out. I hope he gets orange cap at the end and not so called GAYLESTORM... :thumbs
Hats off to this brilliant cricketer...

I am very happy for CSK win, Wriddhiman shocked everyone with his shots, finally got rid of Vijay. :D Good bowling by spinners, very-well balanced hitting by Raina. Mohit Sharma was awesome :clap:clap:clap

A special mention of CHRIS MORRIS for CSK win, what a last over that was, just 4 runs

It was the first time I guess MSD didn't complete Ashwin's 4-overs quota :rolleyes

But hats off to Manvinder Bisla for brave try of big chase. But the day was belonged to Mr.cricket I guess. His run out of Bisla eventually turned out to be turning point of d match. Well played both the teams. :cheers

For KKR, Kallis and MCCullum's slow innings were also the reasons for failure in chasing.

2 mistakes GG made today:

1.Won the toss and chose to field.
2.Making Kallis bat above Eion and Pathan.
With all due respect,i love Kallis,he is a legend but sadly he is looking in a pathetic shape with the ball and bat, high time they bring LEE ahead of Kallis as KKR need to win 6 out of 8 i think.1 or 2 more losses and KKR can happily join Delhi and Pune there for the race for wooden spoon.

Why has MS dropped Albie Morkel, he is surely much more useful to the team as an all-rounder than Dirk Nannes or Holder? Sometimes MSD's selections can be impossible to understand like the dropping of Michael Hussey from a game earlier, and thank god someone finally got a chance in place of Vijay :yes

Well played Chennai! The move to bring in Saha worked today, and it can also give Dhoni some respite if he needs one from the keeping duties.

I don't think MSD will ever give up on his gloves, he loves them more than his helicopter shot.
