Oh damn!! Now with the series tied 1-1 and two matches to play in Kolkatta and Mumbai, we have to also gear up for a tied series...

Hope this is not temporary and the rains stop at least till Tuesday night till the game finishes! We should have a game here! This is one of India's best grounds and has produced some of the historic games ever played in and by India! This is to Chennai weather gods "You have been so cruel in the past not giving rains to Chennai at all. But just when Chennai is alloted a cricket game, you try and take your revenge on Chennai by pouring in bucketfuls. Plz stop and spare us of a game in one of India's best cricket centres".

lol, thier was one game where I got soo pissed off it was a test match in 2004 agaisnt the aussies touring India, when India only needed like 190 odd runs to win the game in the last days of play to win the aussies to sqaure the series 1-1, untill heavy rain stopped the game.

I still hope thiers enough time for even a 20-20 match!

Dont know. But I dont think they would call off play before the official start of the game

Signs are too poor.. Thunder showers forecast for tomorrow in Chennai. Lets hope these thunder showers hit the city in the morning and stop well enough to at least allow a truncated game to start! A result is what we need here, nothing else!

I think we might see both teams sharing the trophy if tomorrow's match is abandoned... South Africa might pull one off from either Kolkatta or Mumbai and India can also do the same. But its a herculean task predicting as the series is getting tight as the hours fly by! Lets see what happens. I dont want India to lose the series!

I wish we let all these strategies to Dravid. Dhoni might work in one match and might be a total failure in the other! He isnt a specialist No.3 (i.e.) he isnt still fully equipped like Dravid to consolidate when wickets fall. So we have to play according to the situation! So if the team needs him, Dhoni should bat at No.3 or some one will always be there to take up the mantle! However Dhoni at No.3, we can be in for some entertainment!
