This game is straight out of the post-2015 Australian manual of how to screw things up when you're on top. Sri Lanka 2016 all over again. Trust me, there's absolutely no chance Australia chase down a total. Absolutely no chance.

I made the mistake of not taking them seriously before the series and now you're on it. I get the feeling you're desperately trying to undersell the Aussies and jinx India.

I will still not count them out. If India are able to bat on this pitch, there is no reason why Australia can't. They handled Ashwin and company pretty well. Only Jadeja looked threatening.

Warner is not far behind Smith. And, Renshaw and Handscomb have shown they are adequate enough. What's been most impressive has been the Aussie attitude. IMO, this should have been the second home series. It's riveting riveting test cricket. Thorough enjoying it! And again, my 4-0 prediction was not meant as a disrespect to the Aussies, but more my bullish mindset because of how India have played but I'm just so so impressed by the Aussies! They always fight and really, I respect them even more now. The best thing is that unlike their previous mentality of making 35+ aged batsman debutants, this is a young side that will improve and grow. Top stuff!

I expect good fight from Australia in the 4th innings,a good fight between the bat and ball would be worth watching irrespective of the result.
Atleast Australia have fared much better than any team in the series so far that had tour this season in India and challenged both the batting and bowling of the Indian and shut down the faces of the critics who had predicted a 4 - 0 victory for India.

Mendis batted superbly in that match.That knock of 176 is one of finest you will see in modern times almost 51% were scored by him out of 353 was itself a credible effort.
And with Rangana Herath on a that wicket it is almost impossible for any team to score that much of runs in the 4th innings.

No but this is my 1000 post so feel obliged. Would love to be watching on TV but it isn't on. India will probably tear us a new one in the second innings so, possibly game..? Unless we get them out cheaply and chase well.
