Australia tour of India (Feb '17/Mar '17)

No but this is my 1000 post so feel obliged. Would love to be watching on TV but it isn't on. India will probably tear us a new one in the second innings so, possibly game..? Unless we get them out cheaply and chase well.
Thanks for your 1000th post! Smith will need to get 75% of the runs it shouldn't be up to him every time

I think India will kick on and leave us with a mountain to climb two days to go and a good lead... I don't think they can screw this up?

I don't think they can either they can bat without pressure, bat the entire day if they wanted too. It's already an unassailable lead sadly. 87 not enough.

I have faith India can still pull of a defeat here. Will demoralise them for the rest of the year. Its a big ask of Aussie men to bat on the last day but once Ashwin doesnt bend his arm as much, India will rightfully head to the bottom.

The pitch is spinning, but if Pujara and Rahane play well in this first session without losing wickets, and getting some runs this will be a very interesting match
EDIT: I take that back. Aus on fire and poor battimg from India and we have pretty much lost this test match.

Another collapse from the Indian batters.
I would say the chances are 50 - 50 now.

This is a lost cause now. All that Australia would need to chase this down is one guy scoring a 50. A quick start from Warner and they will win on a canter. Some of the shots played today have been daft. Also, Australia have a lot of lefties in the side and the low bounce is not in line with the stumps for the lefthanders. The uneven won`t be half as effective against the lefthanders.

These lower order collapses have made all the difference. You cannot afford to lose 5 wickets for 10 runs on 4 consecutive occassions. Pujara and Rahane got good deliveries but the shots played by Nair, Ashwin, Yadav and Jadeja in this innings have been atrocious.

There you go. Done and dusted. 170 is not good enough. I reckon Aus will win this easily.

You think otherwise @Bluebagger ?

I don't know about winning and losing but if U Yadav got out playing that shot with a recognised bat at the other end for my university team, he'd probably be dropped the next game.

185 and still climbing, 120 was enough
Are you secretly an England fan because its usually India v England when we see fans from both teams go 'we are worst, no we are worst' 'we are gonna lose, no we are gonna lose'. :lol

Saha has shown the attitude that the others should`ve displayed. Even after losing Rahane, we should have been able to push this lead to 220. This has been really disappointing after all the fight that we showed yesterday and the day before. 220 would have allowed some cushion with the fields but now we need one bowler to have a magical day. This track is`nt as difficult as it was on Day 1.

India needed to bat for 2 sessions or a session and a half at least to be in with a shout here.

That's incredibly insulting I expect an apology. :p

There you go 188 to win. Both teams have a chance i reckon Australia will win with 7 or 8 down.
