Australia tour of India (Feb '17/Mar '17)

Go to Australian Cricket Team page and see what those a**#*le Indians are doing there..
My point is such things will never stop and are increasing all over the world ,I always expect this kind of thing from the Asian people (hijacking and abusing on other people's pages)only but nice that Australians are giving them the taste of their own medicine. I have already disliked such pages and may God bless these people!

I think it would be better to not give attention to such idiots by talking about them.

Who are you to call people idiots

I think that Australia have done a very good job in India, they've learned from those thrashing in the UAE and Sri Lanka. Considering there are new guys in the team compared to SL and UAE (Renshaw, Handscomb, Cummins), Australia will do better in the future because the new bunch are doing very well so far, better than the old players. Lyon and O'Keefe exteremely well this tour, and if you compare this team to England in India, Aussie bowlers have bowled a lot better compared to the likes of Rashid (who bowled quite well), Moeen, Batty , Broad and Anderson. England batted well in the first innings, but they constantly failed to put pressure and the Indian batsmen, which Australia haved done. Apart from that, the new guys have made a big difference, such as Renshaw with his patient batting and Handscomb's fielding in the bat-pad area has been fantastic. In the final Test I think Australia have the edge, with the cold mountain air in Dhramsala will be helpful to Cummins nd Hazlewood that will get the ball to swing.

Shami bowled beautifully in the VH trophy final I'll be seeing for his comeback in place of Ishant.

He is not in the 15 member squad,he was just travelling with the team was seen in the dressing room for first 2 days.
If its a typical Dharmashala wicket then yes he would be a good option but i feel it would be harsh to drop Ishant Sharma.

Kohli already mentioned that he would definitely love to see Shami in the 11 and there is a possibility

Yeah saw that in the press conference where he also stated the team management wanted him to play that final to prove his match fitness.

If Shami is fit then I'd personally swap him with Nair, as we would need three pacers in Dharamsala.

I would rather see Bhuvi ahead of Ishant in Dhramsala. Since it is cold and ideal for swung, Bhuvi should definitely come in. Shami adds that extra yard of pace or two more than Ishant and reverse swings well.

On Australia's part I am excited to see how Pat Cummins will bowl here along with Hazlewood. Hazlewood has bowled well this series and Cummins has been superb in the last Test.

A hard fought test. It was lovely to see the momentum shift from one side to another and vice versa over the course of 5 days. At the start of day 5, India were well on their to make it 2-1. But S.Marsh and Handscomb played their skins out to not let that happen. Brilliant batting from the duo.

In a way, Australia can call it a victory for themselves thereby raising the odds of retaining the trophy. A draw will suffice but I don't think they will be looking for that. I'm sure Smith would want the trophy on virtue of winning the series and not drawing it.

India fought back well too, especially on Day 3 and Day 4. They failed to cross the line but I'm glad they did not capitulate owing to the reasonable first innings deficit and the failure of Kohli. That was a huge plus sign. They do have to worry about Ashwin though. Looks like Australia have worked him out. If India are to win, Ashwin will need to fire.

Going into the final test, I will put my money on Australia since they have everything going their way and a ground that traditionally is seamer-friendly. This is exactly what I was worrying about post the England series. I think Australia gained a lot of confidence by watching that series. Now they are in position to dent Indian's domination at home by either winning or drawing the final match.

India have some thinking to do. Nair has been given opportunities but he hasn't responded back with results. He got starts but failed to convert them. Ishant, though seems to be bowling well, will need to make way for Shami (if he ever makes it to the playing 11). I would also bring in Jayant in place of Nair since that will ensure an additional bowling option. Kohli has been having a mediocre series but that's understandable. Seems like the numbers game has finally caught up to him.

It's definitely AA (advantage Australia).

PS: I've a strange inkling about Warner. He might go big in the final test.

It was only a matter of time when such statements would re-surface. Their antics on the field have given them the confidence to play the mind games again.

The only team playing off the field is India, disgusting from a team ranked number one. Test cricket is dead.
