Good job India. Special mention has to go to Zaheer Khan who has a Wasim-esque control over his swing now. His pace may be down at 125-130kph, but if he can swing it both ways at will, with no change in the quality of accuracy, then who cares.
Zaheer has sprung back up amazingly well. I am very happy with him. He is accurate, and is more consistent over a period of time. He is playing more games now and thats good (normally he breaks down too often for our liking). And he now makes a lethal pairing with Ishant Sharma. If this continues for the next few series. they will even be hailed among the top 3 bowling pairs in international cricket and will gun for the top spot.

Ponting admits that Australia were outplayed - I am speechless. This could go one of two ways, India could have broken Australia's spirit, as shown through the Lee/Ponting spat or Australia are about to show a great fightback through accepting defeat graciously and moving on, unfortunately, I am leaning toward the latter.
My worry right now is Kumble coming back as captain, and all the exuberance and youthfulness brought in by Dhoni's captaincy goes out and Kumble's reactive and laidback approach brings the team back down. Not sure if Kumble is that generous to carry out Dhoni's inputs (since he is vice captain).
It was very very clear that the change in captaincy had a significant bearing in the way India played

2) Also it all depends on how Delhi is. For the pitch experts, how is the pitch in Delhi for playing? Spin friendly, pace friendly or flat?
Thanks!
Delhi would be an absolute batting beauty, with big turn for spinners from Day 3. I guess batting on it last day will be very very tough

all the india fans are over the moon they won one match don't mean there world class they were good in that one match doesnt mean they will win the test series so we will wait and see. COME ON AUSTRALIA!!!! ENGLAND FOR THE ASHES!!!
When you win against the Australians (once in a lifetime as opposed to india who win once in three matches or so), you will also be over the moon (in fact, you wont be stoppable).
If you beat Australia, behave the way you want, but we have beaten them now and let us enjoy our moment. You said the same when we beat Australia in Perth, you said the same when we beat them in Adelaide 2003, etc. We have beaten them more than any other team in the past few years and we can stake a claim for being the next best after them. We still maintain that they are the best because they have shown a consistency in winning that no one else has shown in the cricketing world. We need to replicate that, and that will be a big goal for us in the coming years (also with a lot of retirements due on our side)
