I still think India can win here.
Sehwag and Gambhir to smash it around like they did at Mohali and get those quick runs. Dhoni, come in at three and do the same. Get a lead of about 350 and give em a day to chase it.

Couldn't help but mention Vettori: but alas you are right. Lol at Laxman and Mishra. One of them is looking to capture Ganguly's title as India's bunny fielder. Fantastic from Clarke. And well White shows some capability with the bat. Another missed opportunity for Brad Haddin. The selectors aren't likely to forget Ronchi's 50 at the Windies. He's on thin ice for me (he doesn't deserve it though but selectors tend to have a short memory).
Is it me or is Kumble really holding back the team. He isn't taking wickets, captaincy isn't brilliant and he isn't looking remotely dangerous. I have the feeling i'm not the only one who thinks this but others haven't exactly said it (its been implied).
I have been shouting this all along. Kumble's captaincy has definitely helped in the Aussie morale coming back again. They will be fired up for Nagpur, and as aditya says, its not good for us. Kumble will again captain that match (unless he gets another injurY!). Its really sickening.

Really good 100 by Clarke. To drop him 3 times means luck might be in Australia's Hands to use and at least drew the test

That's because India was bowling. With Sir Ponting, we would have fallen short by 2-3 overs even after the 30 minutes.

Well as usual, India now will look to save this match while Aussies will be going for the win. And all this is not due to the Aussie batting. Its due to India's poor fielding, poor captaincy and poor bowling (at times). We created pressure everytime only not to take it.
But whatever it is, the words of Zaheer and Laxman (that of Australia being defensive this series) is true, no matter if they are the ones going for the win here. It just doesnt matter, because they have played a brand of cricket that is totally unlike them in this series. And they havent beaten India in 4 games on the trot (India has 2-0 so far) and now if this game is a draw, it will be 5 games on the trot. Keep that piece of silverware with you, the world knows which team has matched you on the cricket field, and at times has played better than you

Former chairman of selection committee Dilip Vengsarkar on Saturday gave thumbs down to Test skipper Anil Kumble and said that he doesn't foresee the leg-spinner captaining the side after the ongoing series against Australia.

Possibly Kumble might retire after England or pakistan series,Pak because they are rivals so that would be a good series (hopefully) and if he dosent perfrom even when England comes,possible he might be dropped for Pak series,and Dhoni might become captain,so lets see...
