Australia's Tour Of India - 2008

Why does Dravid look so good and then throw it all away? It's beyond me. I just hope they don't drop him after this series because he's looking good, he's just been a little unlucky. Not in terms of umpiring decisions or anything, so you Aussies don't have to get your panties in a bunch. He's just generally gotten off to positive starts and shown signs of going on to get a big one and then gets out. Although his scores have been similar to those in Sri Lanka, it's been a different Dravid. It can't be long before he gets it right.

He has been "unlucky" for quite some time now. I actually think that his technique is so good that it makes him look "unlucky" when he's in poor form. Honestly, Dravid sinks the entire team. He brings an aura of slowness. Who can forget when he took more than a hundred balls to score 5 and 13 earlier this season?

Don't get me wrong, I love Dravid. It's just his scores don't make sense to me since he's always getting "unlucky." He has been on this poor patch for quite some time now, much longer than any of the other members of the Fab 4.

I think Anil Kumble should give up his captaincy to Dhoni at the end of this series.

This type of batting is making me scary.

It was a beauty, though. Very fast, invited the drive, but it tailed in late. One should hope that it makes a batsman look bad.

Accepted it was a good ball, but there was big gap between bat and pad,and it was a loose shot,he wasent really going after it...Anyway Sachin and Gambhir playing well here, they should see that they stay till end of this sessions, they should play session-by-session,and not targetting much now.

Shocking decision from Dar.. Ball missing leg stump by an inch. And the bowler is Lucky Mitch! Here we go again..

EDIT: It really makes a funny sight when a Lucky bowler like Johnson blabbers away at a class batsman like VVS..:laugh

 This is annoying me !!

Indian might get all out if this gets carry on!!

Sachin we need a big one from you !

Gambhir out! It would have been interesting to see if they would have sent Ganguly, because then it would have been a left-right combination.

Did Mitchell show the middle finger? He had a heated verbal with Laxman, and while going back he raised his hand with his back facing Laxman and a few fingers came up...

I feel that if Australia can take the wickets quickly in the 2nd session, I think it will open the game up for India too. We havent seen a collapse and if they pick wickets quickly, then India can also pick wickets quickly with our seamers.

Aus just keep talking all the time, even in last test they said we can still win,i guess the "world's best team" is frustrated, because if they dont win here, they cant win series, that will add more pressure on them, and they will then need to win next test by any means, lets see first what happens in this 2nd session.

Man,we still have Dhoni,Ganguly,Kumble and Zak,all who can bat.

Aus know that right now (not in this match, but overall)India is better than them, also its only India who is troubling them the most, there were and are and will be some fights between these two teams, also people commeting and writing in their books, lets just play good quality cricket, rather than abusing anyone.

India could consider declaring at tea with a target of 200+. Then try and get 3 or 4 Aussie wickets to get an psychological advantage going in to Nagpur.

How about we all calm down:cool:
Anyway what's the pitch like at Nagpur (usually). Spinning track or more of a flat batting track.

Indians are going for a draw right now which is pretty obvious so I guess Australians will really have to play the same cricket (Barring the 1st Indian innings) in the next test.

khalek added 0 Minutes and 52 Seconds later...

Its a new stadium. 4th Test will be it's first ever Test match there.
