Australia's Tour Of India - 2008

Brilliant, another awful shot brings a wicket. These Aussie bowlers really do get some good luck. They just seem to tempt people into playing ridiculous shots. Another wicket none the less, Sourav comes to the crease.

Wow!! Impressive debut by Vijay:clap
Tendulkar in the 90's:upray

Laxman is finally out. And Ganguly comes in. Krejza is doing so far a fine job. Although the Indian batsmen has scored a lot of runs against him.

I wouldn't say Krejza has the Indians in trouble, except that he has them playing quite complacently. Too bad for Laxman, he had a century for the taking as well. Just hope Sachin holds tight till he gets to three figures.

Well hes got Laxman and Dravid who didn't play him complacently. They got done with turn and a bit of bounce. If Johnson held his sitter then Tendulkar would have been out complacently.

Umm.... not really. It's not as if Krejza or any of the Aussie bowlers are stifling the run rate. Hence, Laxman really didn't need to manufacture a back-foot square-cut against the spin... which he only did because he didn't rate him all that much.

Tendulkar put down on 96. :)

You gotta be joking! Dropped again! Krejza has tried his heart out today and deserves at least a 4th wicket.

No they didn't, Dravid played with hard hands, everyone knows that's stupid to do, against a spinner, especially in India, if Dravid had played with soft hands he wouldn't have got out to that ball, batsman error. Laxman tried to do the same as what Sehwag did, attempting to cut against the turn to a ball not short enough, it was nothing to do with turn and bounce. Just poor shot selection/execution.

Australia must want Sachin to get to 100, both the quicks have dropped him now. Sachin has to score a hundred now, surely.

Tendulkar almost got out, when he tried to get a century with a six.

Tendulkar's definitely got a massive slice of luck today. An easy missed run out and two dropped catch attempts on 85 and 96. Hopefully he can get the one run required so that I can go to sleep. :p

sohummisra added 0 Minutes and 54 Seconds later...

Check this out:

Vijay out for 33.
Sehwag out for 66.
Sachin out for 99??

Last time Sachin got 100 was 15 inngs before,he is still on 99....hope he gets to 3 figure mark quickly...

In part yes but you could say that about a lot of the wickets that fall in cricket. If they didn't play that shot or if they didn't do that. And if we are using that theory then Hayden, Katich and Hussey didn't rate Harby much in the 2nd Test.

Looks like Krejza is finding out first hand what Sehwag did last test. Welcome to the club of dropping a series Mr Lee.

I agree. I think the Aussies came out way too overconfident in the second innings and that was their downfall.

Man, I'm hoping for an epic Ganguly-Tendulkar partnership just like the old days. That'd be a perfect way for Ganguly to retire.
