Pakistan in India

I think he will not be massively useful in Pakistan on flat tracks though, against the mighty Australia in tough conditions are where he excels, by grinding out useful 20s at the top of the order.

In australia you get good flat pitches which also have bounce which makes it better than pakistan ,also when jaffer is there we do not need akash chopra
why change a good combination.

After the australian series this should be a cake walk for the indians,
India to win odis 5-0 and tests 3-0

Cake walk??? No way! Pakistan have a new captain and new coach who have done a decent job so far. And Pakistan - India will never be cakewalks. Both teams will be under pressure, and the team that absorbs it well will win.

The way they are playing test cricket against south africa they would find it hard to draw even one test match odis with little luck they might win 1-2
nothing more

So what they have a new captain and coach,i still do not think malik is the one
who is controlling the team today i saw inzi speaking to the team in the huddle as if he was leading the team

Inzamam is retiring after the second test (the test being played now). Malik is the captain and has been a good captain too (from the T20 WC).

It definitely won't be a cakewalk for India. For one, they still haven't figured out how to deal with Asif and Gul.

And we still don't have a test skip.

Gul Shmul. It's only Asif i'm worried about.
We can't afford to play Sehwag, that's for sure. But we do need an experienced head at the top. I say Chopra.
Chorpa-Karthik combo sounds pretty good to me!
In tests, obviously.

Chopra is of the grinding kind. But Karthik is not Sehwag. For Australia though, I would restore the old dangerous combo of Chopra and Sehwag. For this series, Chopra and Karthik should do good.

Eh... I didn't rate Gul very highly earlier but he has come back from his injury looking very strong, fast and accurate. We have had problems playing Gul before, and he has become much better. He would be tough to handle.

As for opening, we'll just have to agree to disagree since I think in test matches Sehwag is a much more useful opener than Karthik, whilst you think likewise and there's nothing that can change that.

If dhoni is not given the job then the selectors are mad.

We should play shewag he has always done well against pakistan
chopra will not get a chance and i can bet on it ,jaffer is doing well
and if it aint broke why fix it,

Gul is good on t20 because of yorkers ,in the ongoing test series on low bounce pitches he is struggling as he is a hit the deck type of bowler
and not so accurate in indian pitches he should not cause much problem,

Also asif needs help from the pitch as he lacks pace and i do not see
except for mohali where he would get good help from the pitch.

I do not think he commands respect of his teammates,i think yousuf should be captain.

It's just that with Sehwag having so many faults in his technique, you can't afford to be 13.1 off 5 in tests. Asif seems to have him all figured out.
Whatever, Agree to disagree :)

im hoping sehwag does play
and hopefully pakistan will have shoaib akhtar back too by the series.

im predicting a hard time for india's big 3 though
