Some funny moments. The injury was obviously not very nice to see. Some fielding was poor. SL didn't hit enough boundaries. There was a poor umpire decision but overall not bad threre really.

Its pretty evenly balanced now. Its up to England to get the runs.

It astounds me that they arn;t using Bandara or Vaas. Oh well, their pacemen may pay. Jaysurias bowling will be the key!
 
Collingwood should go well in the ODIs against this Lankan attack. They have been found wanting in their tour matches against these swing bowlers.

Good start so far for England with most of the runs coming from extras.
 
I'm looking forward to the ODI series between these two; this has been an entertaining match so far. Let's hope England can get a victory in the bag.
 
Damn! Strauss gone! I hope England don't collapse from a good start like Sri Lanka did.
 
It's a good thing SL don't have Murali in their side. He would have been hard to get away as he usually is. Run rate is starting to build up but KP is still there so don't have to worry too much just yet. Losing Strauss was a blow he was looking really good.

KP Out! I just had a feeling that he never looked comfortable out there, and that he was going out soon. I fancy Sri Lanka now; England have let the run rate slip a bit.
 
Trescothick is the key here, hes in so he'll need to do the lifting of the tempo. Plus I don't think Collingwood is one to smash the boundaries. 66 off 40 balls is still gettable but it's starting to get away from England.
 
I can't help but feel that England thought that Pietersen was a certainty to wrap up the game, which is why they are so far behind the run rate. Tresco needs to stay in now.
 
12 runs off 9 balls not in trouble anymore. Marcus may well have won the match for them.

Ouch Dilshan picks up Trescothick. That could be the game there
 
:mad:. Now we lose our own game to team who have played barely any Twenty20 games between them. Hopefully win can win the ODI series though. Well played Tres :)
 
Too bad he ran himself out! :) Jones should have crosses so that Tres stayed in there and won them the game.
Congrats to SL though Jayasuriya bowled well. Good to see him back winning games for SL again.
