He breached the rules and was not punished as the opposite team (England) hadn't filed the case within the 10 days of the incident. It came to light very late. He should've or would've been punished if it was got more severe withing the 10 days period. I too would've supported the England if they had filed the case with ICC.What are your thoughts on Virat also breaking the rules?[DOUBLEPOST=1489157505][/DOUBLEPOST]
Typical of Kholi, not surprised at all.

Even after Smith has accepted his mistake then why CA is terming the Kohli's action as outrageous?
Well they want to take the pitch out of the equation by sending bowlers who can clock 90 mph, this said was by both Ponting and Waugh in bbl commentary when they wanted to have Cummins in the team. Even England had Jake Ball in the team for the very same reason. It's a common theory among non subcontinent team to have such kind of bowlers in the team. IMO such bowlers are good with new ball but do they have the skill to reverse it in subcontinental conditions? OR whether they can roll their fingers over the ball with the cross seam stuff?Cummins has played just 1 FC game in 6 years and CA is thinking of sending him to India :/
Pattinson has really struggled with injuries recently !!
IMO both should play more FC cricket and prove their fitness before getting into Aussie Test Side again!
Sayers or Behrendorff please
So what is Australian media doing now? the same baseless claims on Kohli and Kumble about pitches, throwing bottles etc....I am appalled by the way Kohli and India have reacted following the DRS issue. Smith made a mistake and apologised for it. What has followed since then is nothing but an extremely clever smear campaign by the Indian media to tarnish Smith's image and portray Kohli as the good guy here. The same thing happened in 2008 when Symonds's image was permanently ruined by India and Harbhajan Singh based on baseless claims. Symonds never recovered from that and his career went to waste. It's a shame to see the BCCI and Kohli adopt the same tactics to attack the opponents' best player. Awful, absolutely awful.
It is not just Indian fans and media. Even the former cricketers of AUSTRALIA have criticized Smith for his actions and have stood alongside Kohli's action.I am appalled by the way Kohli and India have reacted following the DRS issue. You are putting Kohli and BCCI on too lofty a pedestal. Also Symonds losing track in his career after that incident is mere co-incidence. Symonds is a far more fiesty and hyper aggressive character. A guy who fishes for trouble! Smith is not like that. Smith is way more calmer and is not a person known to fish for troubles. \
These two incidents are not even similar, though they feel similar. I feel a lot of what is happening now is unnecessary hype that I feel is forcefully injected to increase the TRP for this series.
All the spice that was required for India-Australia series has been rightfully injected with just this one single test match. India-Australia contests in recent past have always had this huge enthralling drama. Hope this drama is not staged in anyway (the pessimistic mind in me has this doubt).

Dale Steyn was the only bowler in modern times who was very effective in India ( 2008 and 2010) with the new as well as the old ball especially in 2008 where he ran through the Indian batting lineup.
