Australia's Tour Of India - 2008

Very poor decision by Koertzen.. Dhoni came down the ground and the ball clearly hit him outside off-stump and there's probably even an inside edge to it! Unlucky for Dhoni to miss out on a well deserved century.

It's a good score posted by India. Aussies will have to work hard to get near this target, although the pitch is still good for batting.

Horrible decision..... He was stepping out, and it was clearly outside off stump. Although I felt Dhoni did poorly in not placing faith in Zaheer Khan or Amit Mishra (doesnt he know of Mishra's FC record where he has a highest of 84 and above 1000 runs?). That was a little selfish trying to get his 1st hundred against Australia.

Anyways, still its a good total though 500+ would have been a great total. A few wickets with the new ball can put Australia under big pressure. Especially, that boy 'Hayden'!

Dhoni was an idiot for taking that single and a poor one from koertzen..

ah well....a comfortable score by india....they can afford to breath
a lil easy...but not too much as we have a history of being
complacent !! :p :D

Man, if Hayden didn't get an injury earlier in the year and hadn't of lost so much cricket over the past 6 months then with the form he was in over the past 2 years then he would get another triple hundred on this surface.

Yep, now it's up to Australia to return some favours. Even one early wicket would be disappointing, every batsman should be expecting to get a start.

It's 1 - 1 all on both sides though. First the ganguly decision, and the Dhoni decision. Man, but the second one is a little too foolish IMO. The first one was a little not optimistic appeal. It happened quickly as well. But, dhoni's wicket.... well, i thought he got a four and even the camera man did think so.

But, ....Things surely do happen like that. ;)..

Got him again.

India have got a chance to put Australia under alot of pressure now

Great swing bowling by Zaheer Khan, no doubts about that decision.

3rd ball of the innings and it's a beauty from Zaheer! Haydos cleaned up:happy.. Way to go!

If Munaf Patel was Don Bradman he'd have an average of almost 100. Everyone gets injuries. If you don't accept injury as a valid excuse for Tendulkar... then obviously no one will accept it for Hayden.

sohummisra added 0 Minutes and 44 Seconds later...

Hayden out for a duck again :O

Zaheer Khan's all over him.
Yup, this "unusual" bowler actually has Hayden's wicket 7 times in Test cricket. That's just two fewer than Harbhajan and his bunny, Ponting.
