Australia's Tour Of India - 2008

These 2 guys are making batting look so easy, which I dont think its as easy out there.

Will they get the lead to 300? Would round off a perfect session.

300 is a definite by Stumps. 320 I say.

EDIT: Theres only 10 minutes left in the day, And I doubt they will play any expansive shots...

No matter how well Aussies play, chasing 450+ on 4th and 5th day will be nearly impossible. Even saving the match. They wud have to repeat something like Graeme Smith and Niel Mckenzie did to England few months ago.
That is very hard on unfavorable conditions like India ..and with Quality bowlers we have.
Even if they are lucky, chasing 450+ will be very difficult.

We are there close to the 300 lead with one over to go.

Excellent batting from both these openers. Lovely partnership! I agree with sid that they are our best test batsmen right now.

Edit: 50 for Sehwag! Very well done... Makes batting look so easy, this man!

We're cruising now. Now Viru's got his 50, Theres no stopping him now...

I'm waiting to see what Dhoni/Kumble's post match comments will be like after they win this test, following that decision from Koertzen that has cost us monumentally. Letting Ganguly get 100 not only cots us momentum and runs, but probably the chance to win or draw this game.

Sehwag hits another 50.. excellent innings.:clap

Tendulkar will be cursing missing out on easy 100 here.

Rudi is loosing eyesight too.

There's no excuse for him not referring that to the third umpire. People complain that umpires make bad calls, so they stop making them and refer them to the third umpire. Then people complain that the umpires are useless so they stop using the third umpires and make bad calls themselves. Anyone else notice a pattern here?

Watson was out in his 30's and he went on to make 78. Dhoni was out on 92 when he looked certain to take India to 500 or more which could have meant a bigger lead for us, and possibly the enforcement of follow on and possibly an innings victory for India where now we still are not too confident of victory in this game with the pitch behaving so well.

Umpiring in India Australia games has been aweful since MCG 2007.

If we somehow manage to win here then lets call back curator who made Ind Pak wickets last year.

Dean is right. Had Rudi referred Ganguly's stumping then India could've possibly been skittled for about 300 and you'd imagine that Australia would've batted allot better then what they did, without having the mentality of trailing by almost 500 runs. The game situation could've been allot different.

However no excuses, our bowlers have copped one hell of pasting in this match and we've been outplayed.
