Australia's Tour Of India - 2008

Clarke gone. Well played. I wonder how we will bat tonight? Aggressively or defensively?

Couldn't help but mention Vettori:rolleyes: but alas you are right. Lol at Laxman and Mishra. One of them is looking to capture Ganguly's title as India's bunny fielder. Fantastic from Clarke. And well White shows some capability with the bat. Another missed opportunity for Brad Haddin. The selectors aren't likely to forget Ronchi's 50 at the Windies. He's on thin ice for me (he doesn't deserve it though but selectors tend to have a short memory).

Is it me or is Kumble really holding back the team. He isn't taking wickets, captaincy isn't brilliant and he isn't looking remotely dangerous. I have the feeling i'm not the only one who thinks this but others haven't exactly said it (its been implied).

Another drop...This time by Dhoni. This is getting ridiculous...

Jumbo a bit angry when he took that catch...You wouldn't blame him.

Well I guess Ponting is making India pay for batting so long by doing just the same. Could've declared when Clarke got out but we bat on.

EDIT: Johnson out, about time, let's see how the rest of the game goes now! Hopefully it gets interesting.

@Ben and Dan, North and Voges are better than Hughes and Pomersbach anyway. North is on fire for WA at the moment and would be a good chance to play some ODI cricket this year I reckon.

Australia all out for 577. India lead by just 36 runs. This surely is a draw. With about 13 overs remaining, India may stretch the lead to about 80 runs before stumps. Then tomorrow India will declare at about 250. And we will witness the most boring draw.

Ohoho mah.hh..nn!! Kumble, oh dear! What a great personality! :D Look at him!! He's Furious like the burning steel! What a wicket! He's directly pointed that all the controversies are minor to him, just like an ant. So much furious and Strength in him!

He took that catch himself off mitchell johnson which earlier wasn't sighted by mishra the previous ball, and gone for four. The next ball, woah man, words aren't just good enough now, see and enjoy! What a man kumble is! He threw the ball back like a kid getting his revenge for getting hit for four! man! Sensational stuff in delhi!

Oh! This match is a draw, surely. :D.. But lots of Drama going on! :D..

not at all surprised watching Aussies bat. Pitch had almost nothing to offer. Fielding was awful. when a team gives so many chances. .what one can expect. Aussies played with determination and concentration. Good to see them play like this.

Yeah Kumble is really on fire, three wickets in two tests, two of which were tailenders and one a lower order batsman.

England's batting do rely on Pietersen but i would back Shah to save a team. Didn't he make a hundred against India at number 6 when England were hobbling at 4/60...

edit: Anyway Kumble should calm down. Yes its a poor fielding performance but they need to get over it. Congrats to Sehwag though. Awesome.

A quickfire century from Viru would be nice, Declare at Luch tomorrow with a lead of 250 and them bowl them out....

Slightly omptimistic :P....:D

Leggie added 1 Minutes and 30 Seconds later...

If you were refferring to KBC's post, Then he said nothing about him being on fire in the wickets department, He only mentioned what a great personality he had.

Nice, Gambhir averages 44 in Test Cricket now.

Nah, he made 88 batting at 3 in India before being caught as slip by Dravid off Harbhajan. Then he was unfortunately run out in the 2nd innings when also going well, on 38.

Also, in that said test, Pietersen failed, only getting 46 runs in the test, but England still won. With runs from Shah, Strauss and Flintoff.

Great comeback by us :hpraise. everyone was commited :)

Even the Indian Cricket Team were committed in letting Australia steer to safety by dropping numerous catches...:p

Typical Sehwag, Shouldn't bowl there Clark.
