A Tamil Nadu player being drafted in (I know its justified becoz Tamil players have also been treated badly by the past committees), and a totally unknown player for many (those who follow him might know him). Why not experienced internationals like Akash Chopra or Wasim Jaffer for just one match?

Harbhajan is said to be fit for the last test,i guess the pitch will not be as flat as Kotla one,pitch will turn from 3rd day,then Harbhajan & Mishra will be very much handy.

Well, Vijay is on absolute fire at the moment, good, consistent scores in the Challengers and for India A, and now slams a double ton for TN. I doubt he will play, because obviously Badri has to play. Plus, everybody is unknown and inexperienced at international level at some point, so I guess it will be a good thing for him to be with the squad.

However, they could done what they did last time with Rohit Sharma, and picked someone like Chopra and Uthappa (biased, I know :P), because they are gun fielders, and can come on as subs.

I don't think we'd put a debutant opener in when we are 1 game away from winning/drawing the series. The repercussions could be severe. That said, if anyone would put a new guy in, it'd be Dhoni.

Same as with Vijay, an unknown quantity. Its a risk and its to be decided whether we need to take it with a prestigious trophy there to be taken.

I go with Sohum's team where Dravid opens and the No.6 spot goes to Badri. Dravid is in better flow than what he was in Australia, and would be OK for the spot for this one match.

Oh yes can't wait to get a glimpse of Badrinath in the Test Arena, However i would preferred Gambhir to play due to his superb form ATM, He should still get the Man Of the Series award though...

Its a slow and low wickets, We've got Bhajji and Mishra to take to the pace fo the ball as well Viru and hopefully this pitch will offer more to the bowlers...

No Siddle? That's a little harsh since he didn't do anything wrong to get dropped in the first place, losing his place to Stuart Clark.

Hes solid but hes been in 2 of our sides that haven't bowled teams out. We need a swing bowler to get the most out of the new ball. Siddle's time will come I just don't think it's here.
