Are you MAD. Did you even watch the game. From the 2 over when pakistan were bowling there were puffs of dust when Tanvir was bowling. 140 was a very competitive score. I knew anything above 120 would be hard to get and sure enough.

May be but it was chasable, did you not see the outfields? it was lightening quick. The poor body language of the players cost us the match. Why take so much pressure? play freely, afterall it's T20, a fun game.

Yeah your right we didnt perform well but that decision was crucial because jamshed was our star performer in batting and if he stays in the wicket then the result should be different but yeah afridi and nazir should make way for some others to replace just have good fan following but no performance at all

Ahmed Shehzad and Razzaq would have been a better choice for the team instead of Nazir and Afridi.

You can say this but Sri Lanka big time rely on Dilshan,Jayawardene & Sangakara.When these 3 score runs Sri Lanka ofter win matches.Pakistan spin attack is way better than Lankans but they thing is that the spinners didn't fired today.

I would agree they don't quite have the pure quality throughout the line up (thirimane in particular seems to be there for nothing other than to make up the numbers), but having 3 quality players at the top is hard to call a reliance. most teams ask one of their best three batsmen at the top to score the big runs.

if anything sri lanka deserve some credit for moving two previously middle order batsmen to the opening spots to create this balance. they could easily have kept dilshan and jayawardene in their old positions and gone with whoever up top. it's worked better than teams that have kept their best twenty20 batsmen batting at 4 and 5.

and stats show mendis is much better in twenty20 than ajmal. again, I agree and prefer ajmal across all formats as tests are the pinnacle but that's the reality. so you're perhaps getting a bit rose tinted saying pakistan have the way better spin attack. they have more but sri lanka have the quality one.

haha sour grapes? Take it on the chin. Be glad that you are not the best or there are other better sides out there in pajama cricket. Pakistan always perform their best when they are the under dog and maybe they will stop playing 30 T20 matches in a row and concentrate on moving pass England and Australia in the test rankiing

Well,Pakistan is not the best team, but a fighting till the end team.Pakistan only lost to india in this tournament.before this defeat.

Ajmal doesn't seem to perform against Asian teams, all Bangladesh, Indians and Srilankans played him better than non SC teams. It was his one off day, and since we heavily rely on him, so yeah it was well desereved loss

Saeed was in so good form in Australia series but also in the first few warm up matches but what happened to him,nor did Afridi or hafeez did something special no umar gul even.and overall we were not good in batting as well,

Nazir was only in the team for a fast start and he usually provided, but we need someone like Ahmed Shehzad for continuous performances

This point is very true, but all the batsmen came and tried to smash it. Watch Mahela and Sanga both times the bowl and got lot of runs

A lot of people say Pakistan lost on purpose to make friends with India, and the players can play IPL and get better paid.

True again, Ajmal is getting too predictable and age is another factor. Have to say Raza Hasan seems a fantastic new comer.

Get over it!! Real teams don't rely on one player, someone else should have stepped up. Quite surprised no one has blame Malik for anything yet.
