Australia's Tour Of India - 2008

Congrats Sachin. Enjoy your time till RP hits back.

Out of curiosity, is anyone as sick of Gavaskar as I am?
Yeah, I happily cop the lack of sync with ABC Grandstand's commentary most of the time. They're better at to be honest, they're more descriptive and more descriptive of field placings, because how else would you know if you weren't watching?

The wicket looks flat and maybe unknown factor of Misra help Indians while bowling.

Mishra tends to flight the ball more and also spin it more than Kumble, the unknown factor could hurt the Aussies.

It will be funny if all bowlers get 5 wickets each. What will happen to Jumbo

Even if Mishra does well here,it is least likely that he'll get a chance again in the series.Kumble will be back to lead the team. And it is highly unlikely that India will drop one batsman in favor of Mishra.

Hopefully Kumble will fall from bed in morning.

Tell you why Kumble opted out- Today was his b'day ,he wanted to get drunk and dance on the beach :p

Obviously,on Day 2,he would have had a hangover....

Won`t be long before that happens though ! Let us enjoy it as long as it lasts. We have had the privilege to watch 3 of the greatest cricketers of our generation in action and surpass each others record.

It's his birthday today mate. But, on this occasion, i hope he'll get a lot of cheers for the team and he's got his perfect gift today, you know what it is. ;)

Kumble will return with a bang. If he starts getting a wicket or two, he'll go like a fire through the line-ups.

Sorry, but that is lack of respect for someone who has 616 Test match records. He may be in bad form but he has been India`s biggest match-winner in test match cricket, especially at home.

Yes, whatever happens, we're watching some good, no, we're watching great cricket. We can't lose!

Here are some stats to chew on.Here are some stats which would prove some Sachin doubters why he is a great test batsman, contrary to the belief of one Zmario.
The best measure of the class of a batsman is his performances against the greatest team of his time, and if that is the yardstick then Tendulkar is matchless: in 25 Tests against Australia, he averages 56, with nine hundreds and an equal number of fifties. Since 1990, he is one of only four batsmen who have scored more than 1000 runs against Australia at a 50-plus average.

Congrats Sachin Ramesh Tendulkar! :happy :clap

Bit frustrated with him though. He always does this, He plays wonderfully up until he gets near the hundred mark, And then just fails :p
