Australia's Tour Of India - 2008

Gambhir dispatched that ball comfortably over the boundary.

Clear signs that India are going to go hammer and tongs this morning.

Happy B'day Sehwag!!
We want a century from you on your B'day....

Last ten overs has produced around 54 runs, they are batting very well...

If Sehwag stays in there, Gautham will get his century. They are in their own zone right now, and are toying with the Australian attack.

Both these batsmen are due for a hundred. An Aussie commentator told that the declaration could come this session. Seeing how the wicket is playing, Australia will win this match with almost a session to spare if that happens. We need 500+ to bat Australia out of the game (even though they are already battling with history for the successful run chases).

It's honestly India's test to lose, here. Even if a few of the Aussie batsmen get in, we can just become ultra negative to hold on to the draw. So as I see it, there are two possible results in this game.
Exactly.

I'd be really nervous if I was Indian because if they don't win this match then they've screwed up big time and wasted a massive opportunity.

Don't think if you don't win this match that the 3rd or 4th Test will be easy for you to get back ontop.

I think it. As long as Australia continue their defensive tactics, I DONT SEE THEM winning a game on this tour.

In the last 10 overs 6 runs an over has been scored. Biggest problem for Australia is that they don't have a quality spinner.

India are now at 173-0. What's the highest opening partnership against Australia?

I found something. Highest opening partnership between Australia and India is 217 runs. It was scored by Boon and Marsh.

But I don't know what the highest opening partnership is of India against Australia. But if these guys score more then 217 runs then they should have overtaken that record also.

WOW that was dumb. That was definitely out. Aussies are getting bad decisions against them, which sucks.

Here here, someone get Dhoni to teach Ponting how to captain.

Just saw the Johnson not out geez don't know how that wasn't out. Then Siddle no ball to a very close LBW call. Although looks like bat so less to be annoyed about.

Walk if you want to, or not; what you shouldn't do is complain about other's behaviour and then do it yourself.

India have played fantastically all round this test but there is no way they can stroll into the 3rd and 4th test and expect to be in such a comfortable position again.
