Dropping 1 of 2 batsman who average 54 in first-class cricket for a batsman averaging 33 in first-class cricket when you are 1-0 down in a best of 4 series, heading into the third would be the most illogical selection in sporting history. Especially when one of those batsman is the greatest Opening Batsman of all time.

That is, assuming noone is suddenly unfit to play. It doesn't ever stand to reason that the batsman picked last is as capable as the batsmen picked first, but that's not the point of having a spare.

Dropping Harbhajan right now when he is in very good form, and that too on Indian wickets? Mishra might have done better than Harbhajan at Mohali, but Bhajji himself is in very good form and has 299 wickets behind him. One wicket for him, and he can run through a handful more wickets. Harbhajan will be our number one spinner after Kumble retires and with his recent form in SL and this series, he is justifying that. Plus you cant forget Harbhajan's batting form vs Aussies where he has 3 consecutive 50's in three games.

These pitches are not that bad, if they were so helpful to spinners then White and Clarke would be getting wickets. Harbhajan has been a star as of late, bowling the bulk of India's overs against South Africa, Sri Lanka and in this series and he has done a good job. Sure, he could have taken a few more wickets, but he has been unlucky with LBW decisions and edges, etc and even so has performed well.

Yuvi getting a 5-fer in Mohali? What nonsense are you sprouting out? The wicket was a batsman's wicket which helped reverse swing, and that proved the difference between the sides because Indian bowlers used reverse swing so well while Australians struggled to do it properly.

Harbhajan has bowled well ever since the SL series. His behavior might be different, but form is different. Just because he talks that way, you cant equate it with form. We saw Sehwag bowling on this pitch. Did he pick wickets? NO!

Krejza to Sehwag: 6,6,4,6,4,6...etc

Don't play him him, If he got smashed like that against the Boards XI (6 an Over 20 Overs), Imagine what the likes of Sehwag and Co could do. Stick with White, He bowled decently, Okay he got a bit of stick against Dhoni but that was only because we were on the attack, apart from that he bowled decently.

If India wanted to attack White they could any time they want. They don't see him as a threat hence they hardly see the need to attack him. Krejza will give us another attacking option, of course he will also be attacked more but that the punt you have to take. But as I said before if the selectors aren't going to pick him send someone over they will pick as we need a spinner.

Kumble is probably going to be in for Mishra. We can't afford to drop Laxman against Australia, and he hasn't really done anything wrong.
