Australia's Tour Of India - 2008

I think we found a new way to get 20 wickets. Play bowlers that they don't respect. Krejza certainly is getting the Indians to play a lot more aggressively.

LOL.. the way the Indian batsmen are treating krejza, I would'nt be surprised if he end up with a 5-fer. I mean he might be an ordinary spinner, but going all-bash at him might get them out pretty cheaply where if they could play sensibly there's plenty of runs for the taking.

Lol what did I tell you? Anyone else want to try and smash Krejza now?
And to selectors WTF were you thinking not picking Krejza in the 3rd test.

Got him! Piss off Sehwag thats what you get for treating Krejza with no respect!!! Really nice ball, it's taking the Indians a while to get used to facing an Aussie spinner that actually spins it the way there supposed to, unlike White.

How I loathe our selectors - what could possibly make them think it would be a good idea to leave us with two front line pace bowlers and two weak spinners? Dropping Clark for Krejza is the worst idea since the Damien Martyn comeback. If you want to bring him in, fine, but why not drop the guy who can't bowl a leg break instead of our most accurate bowler? If Clark was playing Sehwag's strike rate would be cut in half and the pressure would be on to score runs against the other bowlers.

And Krejza gets another one! Sehwag gone!

Clark hasn't got much out of this surface. We needed to bring in Dougie for him so we had the Aggresive quick, the guy who gets the lucky wickets and the bowler who can swing it both ways but Krejza for white.

I was fine with dropping Clark but not for Krejza. White hasn't even bowled yet and hes batting 8 almost as bad as me batting 11 and not bowling! I seriously don't know what we are doing these days. The way it's gone so far Watson should be the one batting at 8 at least then the selectors can justify White.

I wanted Krejza to play, but not in the place of Stuart Clark! We should've dropped White! If we were going to drop Clark, we should've put Siddle or Bollinger in.

Weird session. Huge score, but what a waste of wickets. I tend to think India will recover in the conventional sense rather than through belligerence, but if they lose either of these two cheaply in the next, India will be looking back sourly on that first session in days to come.

Definitely should have dropped White for Krejza, the only way I'd be happy with dropping Clark is if it was for Siddle or Bollinger. Siddle was our best bowler in the 2nd test but as I said, Clark is still very important. His economical bowling puts pressure on the batsmen which gets wickets for guys like Johnson and Watson.

Sehwag needs a kick on the butt now.. WTF was he thinking:mad:? He was no way going to succesfully steer the ball to third man when the ball pitched so close to off-stump.. this is what complecency can do. Hope the other batsmen dont get complecent now and play krejza like normal.

just checking Dravid's stats and why it says Scotland? or does it say Scotland?
some times i read things wrong...
Scotland the country? or some kinda club name?

Major teams India, Scotland, Asia XI, Bangalore Royal Challengers, ICC World XI, Karnataka, Kent

Both wickets were not due to the belligerence of the Indians. It was good turn, good captaincy and some poor form. Dravid was in very poor form, and so they attacked him and with Krejza getting good turn from even the good spots of the wicket, Dravid was pressurised more. Sehwag's wicket was due to the captaincy. The previous ball, the ball turned quite some much and Sehwag thrust his bat and pad to the ball and just touched ball with bat to silly point. Immediately Ponting brought the silly point and Sehwag was pressured to go for the cut and got out.

Very good turn from Krejza that too from the good spots (not from the rough!). And he is getting good bounce. India, please get to 400 and then lets see what Harbhajan can do. There is purchase on this wicket for the fast bowlers if they bend their backs. they are getting good bounce.

It was a 50-50 session with it being slightly in India's favor due to the amazing scoring rate of Sehwag. I guess Sachin and Laxman will get to the conventional style (was shocked seeing Sachin treat Krejza that badly, but it was how you should play against a debutant!). I was surprised seeing India's tactics and I ENJOYED IT!!!
