Australia's Tour Of India - 2008

Not really its 3 rpo for the whole day so if Hayden can get a massive score we got a great chance to win

Yeah, 3 rpo should just about do it, considering there are 120-130 overs in a day and all ;)

Hayden needs to be there at the end as Punter would say. Hes our best hope of keeping the run rate we need to pull off the miracle. As we expect though the big test will be what we do when the 8-1 field setting is put in place.

RickyP missed trick with ball. If he wanted 1 over from fast bowler after tea it should have been Watson. One over by MJ was not required at all.

A nice setup: Australia needs 369 runs to win the match and retain the trophy and India needs 10 wickets to win the match and the trophy.

This match is amazing!

Frankly s....speaking, i got that T20 tension for some time when australia started their second innings.

But man, Jason Krejza, 12 for 358!!!!

WOW at both, 12 and 358....

I'll get this match for sure, want to see it innumerable times. What a series but this been. Everything, purely everything is there in the cricket. LONG LIVE CRICKET, I know it will, but still CHAK DE CRICKET, oi oi oi....:p :D..

It has been an unbelievable match. If the tempo was slow yesterday, it's been BOOM today. I had my heart in my mouth after that collapse, cursing the Indian team, but it's been a great recovery.

Just one more day to go, India. Give it everything. Don't mess this up, please. Please !

We had a great chance to level the series but dunnow why Punter just screwed up :mad that bloody 100 partnership has nailed the pins on our hopes unless some miracle happens the result is well known

It's a balance that heavily favours not swinging in either direction. Aus will have to develop some strategies to make a game of it, because I otherwise think that wide lines to the left handers will be more than sufficient to prevent them from scoring at anywhere near a sufficient rate.

Good to see Watson gain some credibility. Love him or loathe him, it's not particularly enjoyable to see a player injured and missing a chance to prove himself. He does need to show a lot more with the bat, but I think in terms of bowling, he, like Ishant Sharma, has bowled better than the tour stats suggest; he's not a go-to man, so there have often been times where he might have done something. I also think it would have been interesting to see Watson and Stuart Clark at either end, both bowlers being able to put pressure on. I think he's also looked like more of a bowler than Symonds would have. If the selectors can sort out the 4 specialists, he'll be more than handy in future.

I have been really impressed with Watson's bowling. He is so technically correct in a lot of places and it shows the effort that he has put into his bowling despite not perhaps being the most talented bowler.

wow we got 20 wickets in a test:D Didnt watch the game today but its a good effort to get them all out in a day. Dhoni and Harbajan adding 100 runs to the total:( We couldve won this easily. 370 runs in a day is still possible (:D ) but its highly unlikely. We should just go for it tomorrow , if we are going to lose might as well lose 2-0.

But with more 9-0 fields tomorrow , we would be lucky to chase 150.;)

PS - Watson you star!!

you called?

The reason MJ was bowled was that I wasn't on the field yet and Clarke was captaining, its also the reason White bowled 2 overs before Hussey was brought on, I wasn't on the field yet :p

This match is evenly balanced. I think it will be a draw. Both the team had not been successfull to score more than 300 in one day during the series except one by india.
